As Women's Day is coming, I am very excited because being a woman is such a wonderful feeling, and on this day, I would like to express my gratitude to all the mothers out there. The way they show their love to us is magical. Talking about my mom like, she is a great cook. She somehow manages to take time out from her busy schedule and cook food for us. Because food is her way of showing love to me and everyone, she shows her love and affection not through words but through food. She spends most of her time in the kitchen, as it's her favorite place.
No matter how old I get, the excitement remains the same when she calls me, saying--come food is ready! I run with the same old joy that today, what new she has made. She loves to make continental food. But the comfort I get after eating that simple daal chawal made by her is something that is beyond to express. And the spaghetti she makes is, oh my god, yummmmmm…… I can feel the love and the care she has for us in every bite of the food she makes.
The aroma of her food fills the house with joy. As soon as I got back home from the office, I ran to my kitchen, calling out to my mom for food. She makes sure to make every dish special by making smilies, writing our names, making heart-shaped chapatis, and much more. For my mom, cooking is her way of saying- I LOVE YOU.
Today, on the occasion of Women's Day, I want to honor my mom and every mother! Thank you for showing us what unconditional love looks like.
